Who: All Al-anon and Alateen members: newcomers and long-timers, sponsors, and sponsees; friends in our District, and friends in other Districts too. If you are in Al-anon and you are reading this page, you are invited! If you've been impacted by someone else's drinking, then you are our special guest! New to Al-anon? Not sure if this is for you? It probably is!
What: Our focus for the day is how have our hobbies and self-care practices helped us heal from the family disease of alcoholism? It's a chance to share our strength, hope, and experience with one another. How do we put first things first? Do we stop and read an Al-anon book, journal, or make a cup of tea? When we're hungry, angry, lonely, and/or tired, what helps us feel better? Our exhibitors and workshop leaders will be sharing their favorite slogans, readings, and/or Al-anon principles along with their self-care secrets. You can look forward to:
