The World Service Office provides every registered group with a copy of the Service Manual. Trusted servants and members, alike, find the manual to be a valuable resource for understanding the workings of our fellowship and the purpose behind the principles of the program. Copies can be orderd through our local Literature Distribution Center or directly from the World Service Office (WSO).
The “Anonymity” and “Public Relations” (now called “Public Outreach”) sections of the “Digest of Al-Anon and Alateen Policies,” and the “Group Business” and “Group Problems and Solutions” sections of “Groups at Work” were revised in the 2014-2017 Al-Anon/Alateen Service Manual (P-24/27). The Alateen Service Manual is now available electronically. Even if you are not an Al-Anon Member Involved in Alateen Service (AMIAS), Alateen is a part of Al-Anon and their Service Manual provides some great insights and can help with many different situations! Check it out!
